🪟 DRM Playback Help – Windows (Edge)

It looks like your browser isn’t allowing DRM-protected playback. Please try these quick steps:

  1. Make sure you’re using Microsoft Edge (not Chrome or another browser).

  2. In Edge, open this link: edge://settings/content/protectedContent
    → Turn on both options:

    • “Allow sites to play protected content”

    • “Allow identifiers for protected content”

  3. Disable any ad-blockers or privacy extensions — they often block the DRM system.
    (You can also open an InPrivate window — that disables extensions temporarily.)

  4. Close Edge completely and reopen it.

  5. Test DRM playback here: https://aka.ms/PlayReadyTest

If that Microsoft test video doesn’t play, something on your device is blocking protected playback. Once fixed, your Mostly Music video will play normally.


🍎 DRM Playback Help – macOS / iPhone / iPad (Safari)

Your browser must allow protected playback for the video to work. Please try these steps:

  1. Make sure you’re using Safari (not Chrome or another browser).

  2. In Safari, go to Settings ▸ Websites ▸ Auto-Play → set “Allow All Auto-Play.”

  3. Go to Settings ▸ Advanced → enable “Internet Plug-ins: Allow websites to use plug-ins.”

  4. Disable any content blockers (ad-blockers or screen recorders can block DRM).

    • On iPhone/iPad, go to Settings ▸ Safari ▸ Extensions and temporarily turn them off.

  5. Close Safari fully and reopen it, then retry your video.

If it still doesn’t play, make sure your iOS/macOS is updated — Safari DRM support updates with system updates.


🤖 DRM Playback Help – Android (Chrome or Firefox)

Please make sure you’re using your device’s native browser — Chrome or Firefox. Then try the following:

  1. Update your browser to the latest version from the Play Store.

  2. In Chrome:

    • Tap the 3 dots ▸ Settings ▸ Site settings ▸ Protected content

    • Make sure “Sites can play protected content” is turned ON.

  3. Disable any ad-blockers, VPNs, or privacy apps, as they can block DRM.

  4. Try again after restarting the browser.

  5. Still not working? Try switching to Firefox (it sometimes handles DRM better on certain Android versions).

If both browsers fail, a system-level setting or security app is blocking DRM playback. Once enabled, your Mostly Music video will load normally.
